Safety Beveler (Skiving Tool)

Arguably one of the most valuable tools in the shop, this Safety Beveler is used to skive (or thin down) leather. It works great on belt ends where you will be folding them & putting snaps. Another great place is on the edge of leather that is going to be folded or layered like the tops of purses or the interiors of wallet & sheaths. 

Three tips for hard to cut leather

• Dampen Leather
• Change the angle of your blade to be slicing rather than completely horizontal
• Make sure you're using a sharp blade

One sharp blade is included. Replacement blades are easily changed. We care 10 pack & 100 pack replacement blades.
